COURSE ITINERARY

SATURDAY

9:00 am: Introduction

•Game Plan discussed (correct dysfunction, clean local tissues, restore perfusion)
•review equipment, function, significance.

9:30 am: Demo/Practice Motor Points

11:30 am – 12:15 pm – QUICKSTART

•demonstration and hands-on practice of QUICKSTART Myofascial techniques for cervical spine, upper/lower extremity.

12:15 pm – 12:45 pm – Lunch provided

12:50 pm: Demo/Practice Motor Points

2:45 pm – 3:15 pm – Special Techniques Demo by Dr. Lombardi on Live Patient

•Review case study
•Observe Full Treatment Approach
•Using Special techniques:

-in-line technique
-fascial pecking
-two needle technique
-osteopuncture

3:20 pm – 4:30 pm – Practice on Live Patients (one for each student)

•Quickstart
•15 motor points
•Blue-Print Treatment using special techniques.

4:30 pm – 4:45 pm – Debriefing

SUNDAY

9:00 am: Demo/Practice Motor Points

11:45 am -12:15 pm – Anatomy of a Treatment

•Learn how to maximize your time

-First 3-4 mins assess
-Next 8-12 mins acupuncture
(You then leave the room and prepare the next patient)
-Return for 4-6 mins of soft tissue

12:15 pm – 12:45 pm: Lunch provided

1:00 pm – 2:30 pm: Round #1 Live Patients (one for each student)

•Practice needling (5 motor points per rotation) on patients in 4 rotations (15 min each = 60 min)
•Fifth rotation you will perform a full treatment (blueprint provided) on your patient (25 min)
•at the end of this round each student will have worked on 5 Live Patients.

2:30 pm -2:45 pm: Break

2:45 pm – 3:00 pm -Questions

3:00 pm – 4:30 pm: Round #2 Live Patients

•Practice needling (5 motor points per rotation) on patients in 4 rotations (15 min each = 60 min)
•Fifth rotation you will perform a full treatment (blueprint provided) on your patient (25 min)
•at the end of this round each student will have worked on 5 Live Patients.

4:30pm – Debriefing/Questions
