Nov. 18, Toronto, ON
– The Canadian Chiropractic Convention 2010, held this past weekend at the
Sheraton Centre in Toronto,
proved to be a tremendous opportunity for the profession to come together in
the spirit of listening, learning and moving forward together.

Organizers Deb Manz, Debra-Lynn Clouthier, Roberta Lidberg and
Tanisha Tetz teamed up with an extraordinary steering committee to orchestrate
an experience that was comprised of comprehensive educational seminars –
representing clinical, scientific, practice management and philosophical
elements within the profession –and a variety of   networking opportunities, both professional
and social.  An extensive tradeshow made
it possible for chiropractors, and chiropractic students, to dialogue with
those dedicated to providing products and services to the profession and its
patients.

The opening ‘kick off’, titled “A Gathering of Friends” began the
conference with a bang, giving delegates a glimpse of what was to come while
providing them with a show they would not soon forget.

On the Friday night, CMCC hosted the Centre Stage 2010 gala for
all delegates. The event was elegant and enjoyable, and incorporated an
entertaining array of performances.

The conference finale, “Strengthening the Tribe” featured a
thought-provoking talk by speaker, Dave Logan, PhD, who discussed dynamic
principles to motivate professionals within an organization or group, and was
capped off with an interactive performance by the world renowned Drum Café.

Congratulations to the organizing and steering committees for a
job well done and to those who attended for lending their energy and making
this conference the unforgettable event that it was.
