May 2, Charlottetown, PEI – The
Prince Edward Island Chiropractic Association is
pleased to announce that esteemed speaker and author, Craig Liebenson DC, will
be offering a two-day seminar titled Faulty
Movement Patterns – Functional Assessment and Training
in Charlottetown
this spring.

The seminar is scheduled for June
16-17 and will be held at the Rodd Charlottetown Hotel. (www.roddhotelandresorts.com)

Chiropractors from throughout the
Maritimes will be attending this conference but all DCs are welcome to
register. As well, this is a great opportunity for all chiropractic
organizations – and/or those that support the profession – to promote their
goods and services.

The course content will include
topics such as:  Sacred cows of exercise;
The clinical audit process (CAP) – finding the patient’s functional training
range; “Core” controversies and more.

Learning objectives include:  understanding the difference between
functional and structural pathology of the nervous system; learning about
regional interdependence in the kinetic chain; how to identify where to
mobilize versus where to stabilize; how to perform a functional screen; and
learning the relationship between pain and disability.
