Ontario DC wins Banting and Best Award

Ont. – The Ontario Chiropractic Association (OCA) is proud to announce that
Ontario DC Dr. Carol Cancelliere is the latest recipient of the CIHR Frederick Banting and
Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarships – Doctoral Award 2011-2012.

Dr. Cancelliere will be supervised by Dr. David Cassidy
DC, PhD. Dr.Med.Sc., as she begins her PhD program at the University of Toronto
this July.  The award will provide her
with three years of funding toward this program, which she will undergo at U of
T’s Institute of Health Policy, Management and
Evaluation. The title of her project is: “Incidence and prognosis of
post-traumatic headache (PTH)”
