
March 29, Toronto, Ont. – The Canadian Interdisciplinary Network for
Complimentary and Alternative Medicine Research (IN-CAM) invites chiropractors to its Seventh Annual Research Symposium and workshops to be held in
Toronto from
November 2-4, 2012.
The theme of the 2012
Symposium is: Evaluating CAM Practices:
Effectiveness, Safety, Integration and Costs. The event will take place
at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy on the University of Toronto
campus.
Important deadlines to
take note of:
- Abstract submission
deadline: June 29 2012; - On-line abstract
submission portal open: March 30 2012; -
Early bird registration
deadline: October 1, 2012.
Pre-symposium events
include the Fourth HomeoNet Forum, which will feature a key note address by Dr.
Claudia Witt as well as plenary and poster sessions focused on homeopathic
research.
On the Friday night ,
there will be a free public event, titled Treatment
and prevention of the common cold: what is the evidence for natural health
products, herbs, homeopathy and nutrition? – it will take place from
5:30-8:30pm.
